What is visible, currently,
before any excavation:
A Roman bricks (fire has?) approximately 20*10*3 cm packed in columns.
B Part of room dug in the rock, very rectilinear, square with right angles
where still persists by place the coating which papered it.
C An arch (or a kind of tunnel ending in arch) which overhangs this room
and its bricks.
D Further, a kind of large earthenware jar has flat bottom approximately
2-3m of diameter, cut in the rock partly and its higher part built out of
stone, whose mouth is on the level of the current roadway. The flat bottom
is covered with a thin layer with dust, but so flat and precise it could be
a mosaic. Nobody still explored it.
E At least 2 others identical "earthenware jars" exist on the
same piece.
F On the same piece, the ruins of an old house going back to 200 years
shelter unexplored Roman underground rooms.
Ce qui
est visible, actuellement, avant toute fouille :
a- Des briques (a feu ?) environ 20*10*3 cm tassees en colonnes.
b- Une partie de salle taillee dans la roche, tres rectiligne, d ' allure
carree avec des angles droits ou persiste encore par endroit le revetement
qui la tapissait.
c- Une arcade ( ou une sorte de tunnel se terminant par l ' arcade ) qui
surplombe cette salle et ses
briques.
d- Plus loin, une sorte de grande jarre a fond plat d ' environ 2-3m de
diametre, taillee dans la roche en partie et sa partie superieure
construite en pierre, dont l ' ouverture est au niveau de la chaussee
actuelle. Le fond plat est recouvert d ' une fine couche de poussiere, mais
tellement plat et precis qu ' il pourrait etre une mosaique. Personne ne l
' a encore exploree.
e- Au moins 2 autres «jarres » identiques existent sur la meme
parcelle... Sur la meme parcelle, les ruines d ' une maison datant de 200
ans abritent des salles souterraines inexplorees.
